What are EU power cords?
European power cords are European main cords, European mains leads, European line cords, European power cables, and European mains cables.
The Euro plug is a flat, two-pole, round-pin domestic AC power plug, rated for voltages up to 250 V and currents up to 2.5 A. It is a compromise design intended to safely connect low-power Class II appliances to the many different round-pin domestic power sockets used across Europe. However, it is not compatible with the rectangular-pin BS 1363 sockets found in Cyprus, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Ireland, Malta, and the United Kingdom. Euro plugs are non-rewirable and must be supplied attached to a power cord.
Schuko CEE7/7 Plug
The Type F plug (also known as Schuko – shorthand for the German "Schutzkontakt") has two round pins (diameter 4.8mm, centers spaced 19mm apart). It is similar to a Type E plug; however, instead of a hole for the earth. The pin has two earth clips on the sides.
European power cords feature
Europe Type F power cords are black, white as the standard color. Europe power cords can custom cable color, length, and shielded as your project. Usually, the power cords end with IEC 60320 connector, which also can be custom stripping and terminal. Europe's detachable power cords and power supply cords supplied by DCpowercord meet Europe's specific standards and current REACH and RoHS requirements.
Type F terminology, indicated above for Europe power cord plugs, is an alphabetical letter classification coding system used primarily to quickly identify the electrical configuration of plastic, receptacles, and power cords set in Europe.
European power cords manufacturing process
Step1: Cutting and stripping the electrical cable to the length and outer jacket
Step 2: Stripping and twisting the inner cable wire
Step3: Crim the plug to the power cable to make the European power cord head plug.
Step 4: Crim the AC terminal to cable to make the Europe power cord tail plug.
Step5: After crimping the tail plug then manually insert the plastic cover
Step6: Injection and Molding
Step 7: Power Cord Performance Testing
Step 8: Packing the European Power cord

EU power cord types
The standard, Class I grounded mains, plugs used in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Russia are the CEE 7/4 and CEE 7/7 plugs. Because this standard is used so commonly throughout Europe, we refer to it as the "Continental European" standard. Both styles have two 4.8mm round contacts on 19mm centers. Grounding is achieved through the grounding clips on the sides of the plug body.
The CEE 7/7 plug also has a female receptacle, permitting it to be plugged into the French/Belgian sockets with a male grounding pin. (For more information, see Power Cord Safety Marks)
